A Case of Mucosa-Associated Lymphoid Tissue Lymphoma Occurring in the Bilateral Accessory Parotid and Parotid Glands Presenting as Infra-Zygomatic Masses

Neoplasm from the accessory parotid glands (APG) rarely occurs, and its malignancy rate is higher than other salivary glands. The B-cell lymphoma APG rare, with less 2% of all in APG. mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma, a subtype tends to be localized disease an indolent clinical course. It very rare for MALT develop bilaterally without autoimmune disease. A 43-year-old male presented superficial masses bilateral infra-zygomatic regions, was pathologically confirmed as by excisional biopsy. We report this interesting case brief literature review.

At laparotomy two areas of irregular mucosa were noted in the ascending colon and cecum. Pathology revealed MALT lymphoma. MALT lymphoma of the colon is rare and the presentation as well as outcome of our case makes him unique.
